2020 Best Decade

Standing in a Space of Potential for 2020.

As this new decade begins, Mel Robbins, the popular TV Talk Show Host and motivational speaker, beckons us to make 2020 our BEST DECADE. I have to echo Mel’s sentiment as I look forward into this new year and decade with optimism and drive. It’s good to review with introspection the past decade to see the changes we’ve made, the things we have accomplished and overcome and to reflect on our dreams and goals for the new decade that lies ahead.

In 2017, I opened a gallery space in a local community centre and set about publicly presenting my art and hosting exhibitions and events for other artists. My goal was to have a professional, physical space to present my work. I held the gallery space for 2 years.

After a year in between of intensive work, studies and travel, I have decided to lease this wonderful, bright and inviting space again with new conviction for the decade ahead. This space will be multifunctional serving as a new painting studio with wonderful light and openness for larger works while retaining flexibility to work as a gallery space as well.

As artists we must constantly strive forward, investing in ourselves, committing to our goals remaining ever flexible allowing for changes and growth along the way. I welcome this new decade with conviction to succeed, grow and challenge myself in bigger and better ways. Are you joining me? :) May 2020 be the BEST DECADE YET!
